What is covered under Infiniti Basic Coverage Warranty

It will include coverage to all parts and components in your new Infiniti apart from anything excluded under the policy. Examples of items not covered would be maintenance items (brake pads, spark plugs, oil changes, etc.), normal wear and tear (such as dents, dings, chips, scratches), damage caused by an auto accident, or damage caused by modifications. This coverage expires after 4 years have passed, or until the vehicle has been driven 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Infiniti Powertrain Coverage Warranty

The Infiniti powertrain warranty is limited to a short list of specific items within your Engine, Transmission, and Drivetrain. It also includes a few safety items like air bags. If you want additional items in your vehicle covered, such as your Air Conditioning, Electrical components, or Suspension, you’ll have to get an Infiniti extended warranty. The Powertrain warranty expires when 6 years have passed, or the vehicle has been driven 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Infiniti Corrosion Coverage Warranty

Corrosion coverage (Perforation from corrosion) is in effect for 84 months (7 years), regardless of your vehicle mileage. However, this is also subject to a list of exclusions, so you’ll want to familiarize yourself with that list to know in which situations you will not be covered.

Infiniti Emissions and Defect Warranties

The Federal emissions performance and defect warranties are standard with all vehicles. If you are a California resident, you will have additional coverage for your emissions systems.
