Shopping for the best new car warranty can be a challenge, so here are a few thoughts that might be helpful.

Definition of a New Car

A new car, for extended new car warranty purposes, is defined differently than you might expect. As long as the vehicle is still under the manufacturers original warranty (usually 3 years/36,000 or 4 or 5 years/50,000 miles) it will qualify for new car coverage with most providers.

So, if you did not buy coverage when you bought that brand new car, don't despair. You still have a chance. Just do it before your new car warranty expires!

New cars today are the best ever built and for the most part the most reliable. They are also the most complex with computers, sensors, and advanced electronics.
