American Mercury Insurance Group

American Mercury Insurance Group offers the following levels of protection:

  • Platinum: Top-Of-The-Line, Named Exclusion Protection
  • Gold: Very Extensive Named Component Protection
  • Silver: Good Named Component Protection
  • Bronze: Basic Named Component, Powertrain Only Protection

American Mercury Insurance Group's Plans cover 100% of all covered components, parts and labor charges including applicable taxes less any deductible that may apply. Mercury's Plans also offer "Wear-and-tear" coverage, meaning any part that has worn beyond the "Manufacturer's Tolerance" and has resulted in a verifiable mechanical breakdown of the part, not just a gradual reduction of operating performance. Seals and gaskets are covered for all covered components.

Platinum: Top-Of-The-Line, Named Exclusion Protection

The American Mercury Insurance Group's Platinum Protection Plan is designed for the individual that wants the most comprehensive vehicle protection plan available that provides the maximum amount of Peace-of-Mind.

The Platinum Protection Plan extends coverage to virtually all mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle unless the part is specifically listed as not covered. Platinum Protection is the best and most comprehensive extended warranty coverage (Mechanical Breakdown Protection) that you can purchase for your vehicle. In other words, if it breaks, stops working, or just wears out and it is not included in the list of excluded items, then "we've got you covered"!

The items that are excluded are comparable to the items that are excluded in your manufacturer warranty. These mainly include consumable items (brake pads/rotors, shocks/struts, etc.), cosmetic items (trim/molding, upholstery, appearance items, etc.), and maintenance items (belts/hoses, alignments/adjustments, oil changes, etc.). Examples of parts not covered are: audio speakers, batteries, bumpers, cables, brake drums and rotors, brake pads and shoes, clamps and fasteners, convertible tops, exhaust and emission system (including catalytic converter), filters, fluids (except in conjunction with a covered repair), glass, lights/bulbs/lenses, manual clutch components, navigation systems, shock absorbers, struts, suspension springs, torsion bars, tune-ups, wiper blades, wheels, wheel lug nuts/studs, video entertainment equipment, and any component or equipment not installed by the vehicle manufacturer.

Gold: Very Extensive Named Component Protection

The American Mercury Insurance Group's Gold Protection Plan is designed for the value-conscious individual that wants the Peace-of-Mind afforded by an extensive vehicle protection plan that covers all major vehicle systems.

The Gold Protection Plan is our most extensive named component coverage, providing a comprehensive list of covered items.

All major systems of your vehicle are covered including the Engine, Transmission/Transfer Case, Drive Axel, Electrical, Brake, Suspension, Fuel, Steering, Air Conditioning, Audio and Various Hardware. Silver: Good Named Component Protection

The American Mercury Insurance Group's Silver Protection Plan is designed for the value-conscious individual that wants the Peace-of-Mind afforded by a good vehicle protection plan that covers most major vehicle systems.

The Silver Protection Plan provides good named component coverage. Most major systems of the vehicle are covered including the Engine, Transmission/Transfer Case, Drive Axel, Electrical, Brake, Suspension, Fuel, Steering and Air Conditioning. Bronze: Basic Named Component, Powertrain Only Protection

The Bronze Protection Plan is designed for the budget-minded individual that wants the Peace-of-Mind afforded by a vehicle protection plan that covers the vehicle's drive-train. .

The Bronze Protection Plan provides named component coverage for the drive-train systems of your vehicle including the Engine, Transmission/Transfer Case, and Drive Axel. See the sample certificate for complete conditions of coverage, exclusions, and your duties during the term of the Plan.

IAP: Integrity Automotive Protection

Royal's Integrity Automotive Protection is designed for the person who is seeking quality coverage for their investment in a new or pre-owned vehicle. Over the last decade, advances in technology have provided even the most basic vehicles with extremely complex components. Vehicles now have increased power, efficiency and luxury. However, these improvements have come with a significant price. The average cost of repairing a vehicle has increased dramatically and is a major financial burden for most owners. IAP was designed to provide you with quality products that help you to protect yourself from the high cost of mechanical failures.

The IAP Program offers the following levels of coverage:

  • OEM: Top-Of-The-Line, Named Exclusion Protection
  • Elite: Very Extensive Named Component Protection (270 components covered)
  • Comprehensive: Good Named Component Protection (178 components covered)
  • Essential: Basic Named Component, Powertrain Only Protection (83 components covered)

OEM: Top-Of-The-Line, Named Exclusion Protection

Top-of-the-line, exclusionary coverage that provides protection on almost every mechanical and electrical component on the vehicle. Excluded parts are: The maintenance; service and parts described in the vehicles manufacturers maintenance schedule, Recreational Vehicle Equipment (such as refrigerators, ice boxes, microwave ovens etc.), Tires/Wheels/Wheel Covers, Battery, Rust/Corrosion, Manual Clutch components, Exhaust Systems, Catalytic Converter, Passive or Active safety Restraint Systems, Hoses and Belts (except AC Lines), Anti-Theft Systems, and Cosmetics (such as shiny metals, glass, painting and upholstery.)

Elite: Extennsive Named Component Protection

Extensive named compenent coverage that protects the powertrain components as well as components within all nine essential vehicle systems. Parts covered include Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Differential Assembly, Drive Axel, Steering, Enhanced Electrical, Air Conditioner, Turbo/Supercharger, Braking, Suspension, Fuel Delivery and Cooling System.

Comprehensive: Good Named Component Protection

Good named component coverage that covers the powertrain components as well as components within the five crucial vehicle systems. Parts covered include the Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Drive Axel, Differential Assembly, Steering, Electrical, Air Conditioner, Turbo/Supercharger and the Braking System.

Essential: Basic Named Component Protection, Powertrain Only

Basic named protection that covers the powertrain components on the vehicle. The powertrain components include the Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Differential Assembly, and the Drive Axel.

The PVP Program offers the following levels of coverage:

  • Premier: Best Named Component Protection (171 components covered)
  • Classic: Good Named Component Protection (81 components covered)
  • Powertrain Plus: Enhanced Powertrain Protection (51 components covered)
  • Powertrain: Basic Named Component, Powertrain Only Protection (44 components covered)
  • Engine: Only Engine coverage (19 components covered)

Premier: Best Named Component Protection

*Best named component protection that covers the powertrain components as well as the components within the essential vehicle systems. Parts covered includes the Engine, Transmission, Differential, Cooling System Plus, Fuel System Plus, Air Conditioning, Timing Belt, CV Joints, Steering, Hi-Tech Electrical, Seals and Gaskets, Suspension, Brake System, Turbo/Supercharger.

Classic: Good Named Component Protection

Good named component protection that covers the powertrain components as well as components within eight essential vehicle systems. Parts covered include Engine, Transmission, Differential, Cooling System, Fuel System, Air Conditioning, Timing Belt, CV Joints, Steering, Electrical, Seals and Gaskets.

Powertrain Plus: Enhanced Powertrain Protection

Enhanced powertrain protection that covers the powertrain components as well as components within 2-3 crucial vehicle systems. Parts covered include the Engine, Transmission, Differential, Cooling System, Fuel System and *Air Conditioning coverage (AC coverage is optional).

Powertrain: Basic Coverage, Powertrain Only

Basic named component coverage for the powertrain components on the vehicle which includes the Engine, Transmission and Differential.

Engine: Engine Coverage Only

 

Basic named component protection for the engine of the vehicle.

Our Select program is a great alternative for drivers who want to keep their vehicle but are afraid of the possibility of high unexpected repair costs that may come with older or higher mileage vehicles. Our Select program protects you and your investment against unexpected repair costs to the Engine, Transmission, Drive Axel and Transfer case which are typically the most expensive of all auto repairs. And since Select is a complete plan it provides additional coverage for the Cooling, Air Conditioning, Fuel and Electrical systems!
